Youngsters to be given a novel approach to study

RATP Dev London has played a major role in transforming a scrap bus into a library for youngsters at Potley Hill Primary School in Yateley.

As well as removing most of the seats from the scrap bus, RATP Dev London technicians installed some shelving, applied fresh paint and added make-believe logos so that the vehicle looks like a real London bus.

The bus was then towed to the school in Hampshire, where further work is being carried out to the interior to complete its transformation into a library.

Rob Garrard, RATP Dev London’s chief engineer, said: “We are delighted that one of our buses that will no longer be used in service is finding new life as a library with a difference.”
