Background

Our Fulwell base opened in 1902 as a tram shed and, with 18 tracks, it was one of the largest in Greater London. Trams ran from the Fulwell site for more than 30 years, when they were replaced by trolley buses. In fact, our Fulwell location was the first in the London area to run trolley buses. During 2021, electric buses will be introduced for the first time at this hub.
