Background
Our world-class training centre is based in Fulwell, where all recruits are groomed to become London bus drivers. They are paired with an experienced driving instructor who teaches the new recruit all the skills required to navigate a bus safely through London. The new driver also receives thorough training in customer service. Drivers are periodically brought back into the training centre for ongoing career development. All our new employees, regardless of role, attend an induction programme at the training centre, where they are welcomed to the company by one of our directors and senior managers.
Fiona joined RATP Dev Transit London as HR Director in May 2021 and, together with her team, has been transforming the whole recruitment and career development process of our company. Fiona comes to us with many years of experience in HR in different countries and industries. She said: “Anyone who works in public transport plays a vital role in our capital by keeping London moving and I am very proud to be a part of that.”
