Background

Our Fulwell base opened in 1902 as a tram shed and, with 18 tracks, it was one of the largest in Greater London. Trams ran from the Fulwell site for more than 30 years, when they were replaced by trolley buses. In fact, our Fulwell location was the first in the London area to run trolley buses. During 2021, electric buses will be introduced for the first time at this hub.

AE

Andy Evans manages our Fulwell base alongside those at Tolworth and Epsom. As a local man who grew up in the area, Andy was using our buses long before he worked in the industry so he can view things from the perspective of both a customer and a senior manager. “Fulwell garage is a great location with a committed team of drivers who really understand what our customers want out of their bus service. At the heart of this is teamwork and everybody at Fulwell knows what it means to work together.”
